In our Cozy Cottage project, we proposed relocating the doorway between the kitchen and dining room — a change that completely transformed the traffic flow for this busy family. Now, guests and family members can move freely between spaces (and grab a drink from the fridge!) without disrupting the cooking zone. We also recommended covering a seldom-used patio slider with a large, comfy sectional, which reclaimed space for a generous kitchen island.

Our design scheme extended into adjacent rooms, creating a cohesive main level with coordinating light fixtures, finishes, furnishings, and wall treatments. The result? A beautifully integrated space tailored to how this family truly lives.

In our Perfectly Polished project, we reimagined how the space could best serve the homeowners. We helped the client prioritize her must-haves, guiding her to focus on the elements that would truly support her love of entertaining — even when everything on her wish list couldn’t fit within the existing footprint.
By simplifying the layout, we replaced the planned island with a peninsula, which made the sitting room feel cozier and more inviting for guests. We relocated the sink beneath the window to frame her beautiful views and improved access to the French doors she loves to open during the summer.

For added texture and interest, we introduced wallpaper and a Roman shade on the sink wall — a softer, more inviting choice than the previous design’s counter-to-ceiling stone. This layered approach brought warmth and personality to the space, perfectly balancing elegance and comfort.

To create a cohesive flow throughout the home, we developed a whole-house colour palette, with ceilings, trim, and doors in soft shades of greige. The cabinetry still has a “white” feel but with a gentler, more sophisticated tone that pairs beautifully with the warmth of her porcelain countertops.
